From Sea-to-Sky to Whistler

Furry CreekWhistler is located an hour and a half north of Vancouver and the drive along the Sea-to-Sky highway (BC Hwy 99) is a must-see on anyone's trip to the West Coast. Views of beautiful Howe Sound, the Cheakamus Valley and Garibaldi Provincial Park among others make this highway one of the most photogenic in British Columbia.

Whether you choose to hike up the back side and take in the views (4 hours roundtrip) or stay at the base and gaze at the climbers as they navigate the crags and cracks, the Stawamus Chief is definitely worth stopping at.


Squamish

During the fall, thousands of eagles are known to line the banks of local rivers to feed on spawning salmon. Keep your eyes peeled for these beautiful birds soaring overhead.
